A 10-MINUTE ULTIMATE ARM AND SHOULDER WORKOUT

This workout is inspired by the glamorous ladies showing off their toned and beautiful arms in their designer dresses at the 2018 Oscars. I also wanted to find a quick arm and shoulder workout that I could do at home on days like today, where I just can’t find the time to make it to a class at the gym. Being starved for time, I turned to Popsugar. We love Popsugar because they have so many quick workout videos for just about any workout requirement.

This Popsugar workout perfectly fits the bill for what I was looking for today. It’s all about the upper body and the only equipment you need is a set of dumbbells. Go light to medium, or a bit heavier if like me, you really want to push your upper body strength session.  But make sure you can always manage and control the weight in order to avoid any injury.  What I particularly enjoy about this workout, is that it not only targets the arms, chest, shoulders, and back, but the moves also challenge your balance and core. Despite being only 10 minutes long, this is a pretty comprehensive upper body workout.

 

WARM-UP

You should never start a workout before adequately warming-up, or you risk injuring yourself. I think this 10-minute cardio calorie burner is the perfect warm-up for today’s upper body workout. It really gets your heart rate pumping and fires up your metabolism. Combining it with this upper body strength workout gives you a fantastic 20-minute, high intensity workout that will keep burning calories for a long time after your session is over.

STRETCH
