JMVB Fashion is a local clothing label born out of two lifetimes of experience. Founders, Jain and Monet, have a passion for quality fashion that can clearly be seen from their garments. They met while studying fashion design at the Technicon of Natal back in the ’90s, immediately hit it off and have been friends ever since. Although their paths diverged, ending up on separate continents for a while, their friendship stayed strong. When they reconnected in South Africa, they built a successful CMT (cut make trim) business and after a few years, they took a step back to realise their own dream: to create a fashion label and collection that reflected their design aesthetic and personality. And so JMVB Fashion was finally born to produce a limited quantity of timelessly stylish, beautifully crafted clothing for all women, all handmade right here in South Africa.
JMVB Fashion aims to design and build complete wardrobes for women. They create classic and statement pieces and, over time, the customer can build a timeless, sustainable wardrobe with pieces that will last her a lifetime. They always make use of quality, long-lasting fabrics and meticulous tailoring, and create garments for any age and body type. Most importantly, JMVB Fashion does not mass-produce. All items are made in limited quantities and are not reproduced.
