About the artist: Wanderland Collective collaborates with South African artists, designers and creatives to produce limited edition, unique pieces. Zinhle Zulu is an award-winning illustrator and aspiring graphic novelist. Born in Kwa-Zulu Natal, she attained her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Visual Communication from Open Window Institute and then her Masters in Design. She achieved a Gold-Craft Loerie award for Illustration in 2017 and was part of the Design Indaba Emerging Creatives Class of 2019. She has also published two children’s books. Zinhle’s illustration studio, Zuluvisual, focusses on her passion for telling stories of Zulu culture in a contemporary way through illustration.
