Isabel grew up in Pretoria where she studied Fashion Design at Tshwane University of Technology. Her love for fashion came from her passion for art. As a child, she always dreamed of being a creative entrepreneur, and being a fashion designer is just that!

The clothing brand was launched in 2012 catering for all shapes and all sizes. It was a conscious decision, inspired by the shape of a women’s curves. Isabel says that being an inclusive brand is a true reflection of us as women and the many shapes and sizes we take on in our lifetime. Her brand proposition, “all shapes, all sizes” is the heartbeat the creative process and her signature laser cut pieces are identifiable anywhere.

Isabel de Villiers collections always bust with colour no matter what the season, her love of colour stems from her love for art. She is fascinated by colour therapy and the colours we tend to choose subconsciously when we are happy, moody, in need of confidence or when we need to be brave.

She designs her garments with a certain woman in mind – a woman with confidence, power, strength and beauty. Isabel de Villiers aims to uncomplicate clothing and fashion by designing pieces that are easy to wear, flattering, fit well and last a lifetime.
