They are best known for their fabulous wrap dresses that are made in different cuts to fit different body types. They have also recently introduced Mareth Colleen maternity wear. We try our best to give advice on the fit in the product description.
The two met while studying fashion design at the Elizabeth Galloway Academy of Fashion in Stellenbosch near Cape Town. After completing their studies, they took different career paths:
Colleen studied at the London School of Fashion for a year. She also did an internship at Alexander McQueen. During this exciting internship, she drew up patterns and worked on textile designs as part of the Alexander McQueen design team.
Mareth went on to spend two and a half years working for a local women’s magazine, Sarie. She mainly filled the role as a stylist, but she also gained valuable experience by helping out with the online store. Her boss at the time, Chris Viljoen, would later become the Fashion Director at Spree, one of SA biggest online fashion stores (now part of Superbalist). Spree became one of Mareth and Colleen’s first online wholesale customers.
Any woman will feel special in Mareth Colleen garments. They are feminine, classic, sustainably made and flattering.
